Overview of the Activity during the Job Shadowing
Julia participated in a meeting that had as a goal to organise the framework and content for the long term training programmes and other activities hosted by Via Experientia.
She also took the opportunity to network with other stakeholders in the adult education field in Kaunas and Vilnius, and beyond, such as balticSKILLS, Gyvas ryšys and Vilniaus Kolegija.
The stay in Lithuania included experiential activities to foster team development, insights into how to develop and run a successful international long-term training programme, as well as meetings with colleagues to discuss approaches and methodologies in adult education.
Competences acquired
As a result of her stay, Julia acquired and strengthened the following competencies:
- Programme development
- Communication with participants
- Project management, budgeting and logistics
- Team development
- Safeguarding the physical and emotional well-being of participants and educators
She came back with improved knowledge of the adult education landscape in Lithuania as well as a basic understanding of its structure and terminology.
