Overview of the training

The training was a combination of the following elements.

  • Overview of 21st Century Competencies, Global frameworks: OECD, P21, EU Key Competences, The 4Cs: Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, Critical Thinking: Self-assessment & mapping skills
  • Communication & Creativity in the Adult Learning Environment: Enhancing adult learner voice & active listening, Verbal & non-verbal communication tools, Fostering creativity: open tasks & design thinking, Storytelling, role-play & visual thinking
  • Workshop: Redesign lesson for creativity & communication
  • Critical Thinking & Collaboration: Inquiry-based & reflective learning, Questioning strategies & reasoning, Building adult learner collaboration, Cooperative learning & adult learning environment roles
  • Digital Skills, Global Citizenship & Lifelong Learning: Digital literacy & responsible online behavior, Media literacy & evaluating sources, Embedding global citizenship & sustainability, Cultivating lifelong learning mindsets

Competences acquired

As result of the participation in this training experience, Christine Simone Egeler gained the following competences and professional skills:
