Smile Cafe

The Erasmus+ project SMILE CAFE aims to reduce social isolation and strengthen the digital literacy of adults aged 55+. The project focuses on creating and promoting accessible learning opportunities for all citizens and generations. This includes strengthening the competences of adult educators and adult learning professionals, and to expand the availability of high-quality, flexible, and recognised learning opportunities for adults. The project will develop the following results:

  • SMILE CAFE Methodological Handbook for Experts and Trainers, also available in four languages, providing practical guidance, tools, and strategies to effectively support OLPs 55+ in digital inclusion and social participation.
  • SMILE CAFE Hub, a dedicated online space focused on digital literacy and wellbeing for OLPs 55+, supported by a country-specific database of community networks, resources, and learning opportunities to encourage sustained engagement and inclusion.
